Just a very small part of the beautiful Algarvian coastline - gorgeous sandy beaches and sandstone cliffs.

Just doing what you do on holiday - sitting about, walking about, eating, drinking, snoozing.....We are in our Timeshare apartment which we have been coming to since 1987 every year without a break - we love it so much - and in all that time this lovely coastline has not changed a bit. The buildings have all grown behind the coastline but the Portuguese have learned from the Spanish and have forbidden buildings within so many metres of the beaches and then buildings more than 3 storeys high within so many more metres behind that (I can't remember how many metres)

The cliffs are crumbling at such a fast pace though that these distances are becoming much less.

We are staying here until 31 January when we return to QV and on the 2 February we start our adventure to the Azores - plenty of that later.   My next post will be on 31 January.
